The Girl and the Dinosaur (Hardcover)

Staff Reviews
Marianne lived in a town beside the sea with golden sand and rock pools and a tattered, battered pier. She spent her time digging in the sand looking for the treasures history left behind; she was digging for a dinosaur. The fisherfolk didn’t understand Marianne; they wondered why she didn’t look for friends and leave those old bones be, but Marianne was patient and Marianne was clever. She stuck with it, and soon she had done it. When all the stony bones came together, she had finally found her dinosaur, and, even better, a friend. That same night, she wished with all her heart for stony bones to come to life and come find her. With the wishing stars burning bright that night, her wish came true, and a deeply sleeping dinosaur woke up. They went on new adventures, and encountered many creatures long forgotten in the night air thick with dreams. On they went until, finally, one adventure brought them to an enchanting place where anything was possible and nothing was as it seems...
