Events at McLean & Eakin are for general audience appeal, sometimes children or adult specific, but always with an emphasis on books. The purpose is to help all of us appreciate the world of experiences and ideas, as they relate to our own lives. Events are free, but because of limited space, we appreciate reservations.
And if you're traveling within the midwest, be sure to check out Books-n-Authors, a great service provided by the Great Lakes Booksellers Association (GLBA). This website lists events from participating GLBA stores across the midwest region. If you miss an author appearance with us, you might be able to catch them at another independent bookstore in the area.
