When we found out about Brad Herzog's novel, Turn Left at the Trojan Horse, we couldn't resist having some fun with the location of the event. Brad's memoir is all about a trip he took across the U.S. in his R.V. in honor of Odysseus' classic journey. He celebrates heroes across the nation in places like Olympia, Washington; Athena and Troy, Oregon; Iliad and Calypso, Montana; Apollo, Pensylvania; Plato, Indiana...the trip goes on and the list of heroes grows. This is a moving memoir about what it really means to be a hero, even if it is an unlikely one.
In honor of Brad's trip, this event will be held at Hearthside Grove RV Park just North of Petoskey on 131 North. This Lit and Libations event is free and open to the public, reservations are required so that we know how many to expect.
