Jess Walter, author of "Citizen Vince" and "The Zero," will be speaking about his new book, "The Financial Lives of the Poets," a darkly comic novel that begins with the demise of Matt Prior, business column writer/poet at heart.  He has been laid off from his job, is fairly certain that his wife is having an online affair, and instead of getting milk at the 7-11 he ends up smoking pot with some local college kids and changing his life forever.  Timely, and funny, this is a book for all readers.
