If you have not had the pleasure of meeting Mardi Link, we highly recommend it.  She is almost too nice to be the brilliant researcher that she is.  (I said almost, Mardi, don't let it go to your head.)  In When Evil Came to Good Hart, Mardi did enough research to make your head swim.  She had to.  It's an unsolved murder in Northern Michigan.  Do you have any idea how many people come in and tell us they know someone who walked by/knew the family/ lived nearby, etc.?  She couldn't be lenient with a single detail.    Mardi is moving on to a smaller peninsula in her latest book, Isadore's Secret.  The Leelanau Peninsula is almost as beautiful as Little Traverse Bay.  It is hard to believe that the murder of a nun could have taken place there.  Sister Janina disappeared from Isadore and Holy Rosary Parish.  Was she kidnapped?  Did she run off with a secret lover?  Did she slip into madness as her mother before her? ...or was she murdered?  Read the book!  Then bring your questions to Mardi.
